I want to thank all the medical staff of the Mardaleishvili clinic, in which on 6 June 2019 we received stem cell transplantation. My daughter is 6 years old and at the age of 3 we were diagnosed with autism.
My son Kristers is 8 years old. We are from Latvia.
In May 2021, Kristers underwent a transplantation of his own stem cells to correct childhood autism at the Mardaleishvili clinic in Georgia.
During this time he changed a lot for the better. Understanding of speech improved to 90%. Before the transplantation, Kristers was a completely nonverbal child. Over the course of the year, speech gradually improved, more and more words appeared. Now he can speak in 3-word sentences.
His stereotypy completely disappeared. Kristers has become more social. Previously he was indifferent to his peers. Now he approaches children, tries to establish contact, and has begun to perceive situations correctly.
Kristers attends a specialized school. He has become teachable and the program at the school is easy for him. Now he knows letters and numbers.
Before the transplantation, the child had a very poor appetite. He gained weight very slowly, at 5 years old he weighed only 15 kg. After the transplantation, his appetite improved and now he eats almost everything and has gained 7 kg in 2 years. Kristers became more independent and began to look after himself.
